50 players of Forest dept to participate in National Tournament in Bangalore

Bali Baghat sees players off at Jammu Railway station

A group of 50 players belonging to different sports from Forest Department today left for Bangalore to participate in 22ndNational Forest Sports meet to be held from 19 to 23 December, 2015.

Minister for Forests, Ecology & Environment, Bali Bhagat saw the players off at Jammu Railway Station. Before departure, he interacted with the players and wished them success in the tournament.  He hoped that teams like previous years will do well this time also and bring laurels for the State.

The Minister was apprised that the players of J&K Forest Department are participating in the National Games since 1992 and have always won gold medals in Football, Cricket and Billiards.

Principal Secretary Forests, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. A.K. Singh, Conservator of Forests, Mr. Brij Mohan Sharma and other officers were also present on the occasion.
