8 year old girl died in a road accident on Jammu Pathankot national highway. Accident took place yesterday evening at about 6:30pm when a speedy truck crushed one 8 years old girl Lakshmi daughter of Bharat Rattan resident of village Jakh. The locals rushed the critically injured Lakshmi to GMC hospital Jammu where she died at about 1:15am night during treatment. The speedy truck was on the way from Kathua to Jammu. Vijaypur police reached the spot and arrested the driver along with truck and the case for further investigation.
