The Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed ordered following transfers and postings in the Police Department.
Mr. Arun Kumar Choudhary, IGP Headquarters, PHQ has been transferred and posted as MD J&K Police Housing Corporation in the rank and grade of IGP vice Mr. Dilbagh Singh who shall await orders of posting in PHQ.
Mr J P Singh, IGP Traffic, J&K has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison in the Home Department against an available vacancy.
Mr. Viplav Kumar, DIG, awaiting orders of adjustment in PHQ has been posted as DIG Traffic, Jammu relieving Mr. Ashkoor Ahmed Wani of the additional charge of the post. Mr. Viplav Kumar shall also hold the charge of the post of I/C IGP Traffic, J&K till further orders.
Mr. Sunil Dutt, SSP CID Cell, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Commandant JKAP 4th Bn against an available vacancy. Mr. Puran Chand Kilam, Addl. SP CID Cell, New Delhi shall also hold the charge of the post of SSP CID Cell, New Delhi in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Mr. Suhail Munawar Mir, SSP Baramulla and SSP PCR Srinagar, Mr. Imtiyaz Hussain Mir shall swap their places of posting.
Mr. Rajeshwar Singh, AIG (Welfare) PHQ has been transferred and posted as SSP Rajouri vice Dr Mohammad Haseeb Mughal who shall await orders of posting in PHQ.
