Civil Secretariat opens in Jammu, CM receives guard-of-honour

CCM receives guard-of-honour in Jammu

The Civil Secretariat and other Move offices opened here on Monday after the Annual Darbar Move from Srinagar, the summer capital of the state.

Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, on his arrival at the Civil Secretariat inspected the ceremonial parade and received Guard-of-Honour by a contingent of the J&K Police.

Deputy  Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh, Ministers, Chief Secretary, DGP, Administrative Secretaries, other senior officers, besides employees of the Civil Secretariat welcomed the Chief Minister.

The presidents and other office-bearers of Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union and Low Paid Employees Union presented bouquets to the Chief Minister and greeted him on the first day of opening of Move offices.

Later, the Chief Minister attended his office and resumed routine official work.
