Police has recovered a body of a middle-aged man in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last evening, said a spokesman.
The body of 49-year-old Abdul Ahad Sheikh, son of Abdul Jabbar Sheikh, resident of Muqam Rajwar Handwara was recovered from the washroom of a Masjid of village Shalpora Sopore.
After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Sopore police has initiated investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death.
