Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar, taking cognizance of the rumours regarding infant deaths due to pulse polio immunization has directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir to crack the whip on the rumour mongers, who spread the rumour triggering chaos and panic in the valley.
DGP has directed the IGP to identify the brain behind the rumour and take stern action under law against such elements, who are endangering the peaceful atmosphere by spreading such rumours.
