District Information Centre, Kishtwar organized a declamation contest on topic “Importance of maintenance of cleanliness” at Government High school, Affani Paddar. Headmaster of the institution Neema Dorje was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as10 students participated in the declamation contest in which Balqisa ,Waseem Akram and Assiya Tabussam, all students of class 10 got first, second and third position respectively.
Speaking on the occasion Headmaster of the institution said that it is very important to inculcate the habit of maintaining clean and green environment among the students. He said such competitions play a major role in achieving it. “We should target Students as they act as an agent of change and through them information could be easily disseminated to the society”, he added.
Later, prizes were distributed among the winners by the Chief Guest.
