In compliance with the directions of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and in continuation with the drive to remove encroachments from Kahcharie land, a team of officers headed by Tehsildar Zaingeer today visited Wadoora village of Sopore and removed encroachment from Kahcharie land measuring 35 kanal, 14 marla.
More than 1000 Russian Poplar trees on the Kahcharie land were also cut down.
SHO Bomai, Naib Tehsildar and officers of Flood Control and Irrigation department were also part of the team.
