A function on the culmination of Farmers Field School under ATMA was held today at Village Garnai, Horticulture Zone Tikri.
The Farmers Field School was conducted to train the farmers in different components of horticulture activities like Frontline Demonstration for High Density Orchard at Farmers Field of Shri Ganesh Dass, (Land Development, Layout and pit digging/re-filling, Canopy Management/IPM/INM Techniques, Raising of High Density Orchard, Basin making, Vermi Bed Technology) and value addition of fruits and vegetables.
At the end, lectures of progressive farmers, farm women and experts from the department and external trainers were conducted for effective dissemination of techniques.
