On the eve of New year 2016, one day symposium on communal harmony was organized by the NSS unit of Govt. PG College Bhaderwah today.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. P.K Chib programme officer NSS. The symposium was presided over by the principal Prof. Z.A. Hashmi.
Speaking on the occasion, Hashmi stressed on maintaining communal harmony and to avoid radicalization as unity in diversity leads to development of the nation. Various NSS volunteers also spoke on the occasion and pledged to work for maintaining unity, integrity, communal harmony and to render selfless service to the nation.
