The Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations and District Information Centre, Kathua jointly organized a cultural programme at Sub-Jail Hiranagar. Superintendent of Sub-Jail Hiranagar Lazar Khandayara was the chief guest on the occasion. The officials of the jail and large number of inmates witnessed the two-hour long cultural programme and applauded the cultural items presented by the artists. The artists from cultural wing of Information Department, Jammu and District Information Centre Kathua presented Dogri, Punjabi, and Hindi songs. The Sufi and Punjabi songs were well enjoyed by the inmates which kept all spell bound. The jail inmates also participated in the cultural programme and presented Punjabi songs.Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent of Sub-Jail Hiranagar appreciated the efforts of Information Department for organizing the cultural programme. The artists which participated in the cultural programme included Vijay Anand, Bodh Raj, Banti Kumar, Surjit Singh, Kamal Kumar, Gagandeep Singh, Joginder Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Dilsher Hans, Thomas and Vishal Pathania.
