Militants attacked a police post at Tujjar sharief village in Baramulla district today. One policeman and a physically challenged civilian got injured in the attack. Both of them were shifted to hospital . The policeman however succumbed on way to sub district hospital Sopore while as the civilian succumbed in the hospital. The policeman has been identified as Fayaz Ahmed of IRP 13th BN. He is a resident of a nearby village Wadoora. According to details, the militants decamped with service rifle ( INSAS) of the deceased policeman. The civillian has been identified as Ab. Rahim Lone of the same village . Extra security forces were rushed to the spot but no arests could be made. The police post has been established outside the Dargah of Hazrat Makhdoom sahib (RA)
