Providing improved road connectivity to border people Govt.’s concern: Sunil

Minister of State for PWD( R&B) and Revenue, Mr. Sunil Sharma in Kathua

Minister of State for PWD( R&B) and Revenue, Mr. Sunil Sharma has said that the Government is putting in every possible effort to provide improved basic amenities  including improved road connectivity to the people of kandi and border areas.

This was stated by the Minister while dedicating the newly constructed road from Londi Morh to Babiya in Kathua district. The road will provide connectivity to Chaan, Khatriyan, Londi and Babiya villages with NH- 1. 

Inhabitants of connecting villages were present in large numbers to accord rousing welcome to the Minister.

While addressing gathering, Mr. Sharma said that Government is committed to provide improved and upgraded basic amenities to the people and strengthening of road infrastructure in rural and border areas. 

The Minister also assured that other roads connecting other adjoining border areas will be soon taken up under CRF.

Present on the occasion were MLA Hiranagar, Kuldeep Raaj, Brigadier Bhatacharya, Chief Engineer Project Sampark and other officers.
