In view of the breach of public peace and tranquility in Samba District due to Law and Order disturbances, the DC jammu has imposed restrictions on all kinds of assemblies of four or more people within the jurisdiction of Jammu district, under section 144 of CrPC. The Police has been directed to deal sternly with any type of violation of the restrictions under 144. This has been enforced as a preventive measure.All educational instutions have been closed.
