Kupwara police arrested two timber smugglers and seized the vehicle used for the illegal trade at Kupwara. As per the details , Forest Protection Force along with forest officials has arrested two Udampur based persons for allegdly trying to smuggle forest timber from Kupwara. A truck bearing registration number JK0T -5962 was seized near wudpura during night and recovered 88 sq.feet of deodar timber . Forest officials told that the timber was being smuggled to Udampur. Two persons Darshan Lal and Jeevan Singh were arrested on the spot and handed over to police. Further investigation is on.
