The Vice Chairman, J&K Muslim Wakf Board, Peer Mohammad Hussain, today inaugurated the high density plantation drive at Baghi Asham orchard at Sumbal in Bandipora.
Chief Executive Officer, Secretary among other Wakf officials were present on the occasion.
It was said that 2000 saplings will be planted at this orchard and 3000 saplings each at Wakf orchards at Lassipora Pulwama and Hajibal (Tangmarg) Baramulla as part of the drive.
On the occasion, the VC said that to match the growing demands high density plantation is the need of the hour. Chief Executive Officer and others also spoke at the function.
