A woman was killed and two others were injured as a lone terrorist travelling in an SRTC bus from Srinagar attacked a joint naka manned by state police and CRPF personnel at Kud on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Monday evening.
The terrorist was immediately killed in retaliatory firing by para military personnel. From an identity card seized from his possession, he has been identified as Tanveer Sultan son of Sheikh Mohammad of Bemina, Parimpora, Srinagar. A pistol and an AK 47 rifle along with ammunition have been seized from him.
