Under the weekly meeting of ‘PRAYAS’ as many as 19 callers registered their grievances before District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar, here today.
Mainly the issues relating to scarcity of drinking water, unscheduled power cuts, ration distribution and road connectivity were put forth by the callers.
District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar while responding to the callers assured timely mitigation of their genuine problems. He also laid stress upon the officers to direct their field functionaries to promptly take action for redressal of such grievances.
He called upon the officers to communicate the action taken to the ‘PRAYAS’ cell and solve peoples problem in a time bound manner.
The district administration has devised a unique grievances registration and redressal mechanism ‘PRAYAS’, first of its kind in the state under which any person can register grievance before the District Development Commissioner through telephone on 01922-238796 every Wednesday from 10 am to 11 am.
