Kashmiri artists present traditional rouf, Chakri in Katra

The ongoing Navratra festival has proved a magnificent example of communal harmony, brotherhood, and secularism with artists and cultural troupe participating in large numbers with great enthusiasm and fervor irrespective of caste  and religion. For the first time, Kashmiri artists performed traditional rouf and chakri and dances leaving the pilgrims spell bound amidst the atmosphere of sacred and revered festivity.

          Exhibiting the spirit of national integration during the holy festival, artists from Ladakh, Kashmir, Udhampur, Rajouri, Bhaderwah, UP, Himachal Pardesh, Maharashtra and others took part in the shobha Yatra organized by cultural Association Katra from Asia Chowk to Chintamani Mandir. Ladakhi troupe also participated in the festival for the second time
